Happy Friday! Well I am finally going to show everyone pictures of Emery’s and I vacation to Disney World. I am going to split this post up into two maybe three posts because there is so much to say and see. To say we had a good time is an understatement. We had been planning and saving for this trip for about two years and it was worth it!! It was Emery’s first trip to Disney World and I have him hooked. He is now a Disney nerd just like me… Yay! My evil plan worked…Haha
We stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. It was a beautiful resort with white sandy beaches, palm trees and hammocks for lounging. Unfortunately we were so busy with the parks and acting like kids that we didn’t have much time to explore the resort. We did, however, enjoy a few evening swims and walks around the property.
The trip officially started at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. First of all I can’t tell you how much I love the fact that Disney puts so much thought and detail into everything they do. I think Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a great illustration of that. The villages are nothing short of spectacular with how realistic everything is. I wanted to take a picture of everything.
But the Animal Kingdom wouldn’t be the Animal Kingdom without the ‘Tree of Life’ and of course the animals. I am going to give you a taste of the animal pictures we got but I am saving most of them for later! We went on the most amazing safari that deserves a post all its own.
Before we move onto the next park I am going to share a little bit about Emery and I that may…well be a bit strange. We have these 5…correction now 7 little plastic animals. They all have special meaning behind them; we have bought them somewhere we have traveled together in the past. We now take them on trips with us and then take pictures….So yay…Here ya go… Judge us as you will!
Next we moved onto Epcot! We spent a lot of time here. It was an absolute great time wandering around the World Showcase. My favorite countries were by far Japan and China. The buildings were amazing and the shops were great. I wanted to take everything home with me. Emery was amazed as well. He couldn’t wait to see what was inside the big ball. Once he realized it was a slow ride called spaceship earth and not the entire park he was a little let down and relieved all at the same time!
I hope you enjoyed our pictures! I am leaving out a lot of details; however, I don’t want to overwhelm anyone with everything. If anyone has any questions please just ask. Part 2 and 3 are to come.
